Role OverviewWe are seeking a high-performance AI Solutions & Hardware Sales Manager who can drive consultative sales of AI upskilling programs, AI agent platforms, AI hardware systems, and turnkey AI lab infrastructure.
This is not a transactional IT product sales role.
This is a strategic, solution-led revenue role at the intersection of AI, education, infrastructure, and workforce transformation.
The candidate will sell bundled offerings that combine:
- AI Upskilling Programs (Students, Faculty, Enterprises)
- AI Agent Platforms (Workbench, LMS, Certifications)
- AI PCs and Edge AI Systems
- GPU Workstations and AI Lab Infrastructure
- Enterprise AI Automation Solutions
Key Responsibilities
University & Institutional Sales
- Drive adoption of AI Labs powered by AI PCs and edge AI systems.
- Sell Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and credit-based AI certifications.
- Position AI Workbench as institutional AI infrastructure.
- Engage Vice Chancellors, Registrars, Deans, Directors, and Heads of Departments.
- Align proposals with national initiatives such as NEP 2020, AICTE mandates, Skill India, and state-level modernization programs.
- Close institutional deals ranging from AI training programs to full-scale AI lab deployments.
Enterprise & MSME AI Adoption
- Sell AI agent automation solutions to MSMEs and mid-sized enterprises.
- Position AI PCs and local inference systems for privacy-first AI deployment.
- Drive bundled sales combining hardware, training, and deployment services.
- Conduct AI readiness workshops and ROI discussions with decision-makers.
AI Hardware & Infrastructure Sales
- Promote and close deals for AI PCs, edge AI systems, GPU workstations, and AI lab clusters.
- Collaborate with OEM partners for demos and co-selling opportunities.
- Design AI lab infrastructure proposals (2050 seat configurations).
- Present total cost of ownership advantages of edge AI vs cloud-only systems.
Consultative Solution Selling
- Conduct discovery meetings to assess institutional AI readiness.
- Build customized proposals and transformation roadmaps.
- Handle RFPs and institutional procurement processes.
- Negotiate multi-year contracts and long-term engagements.
Pipeline & Revenue Ownership
- Own the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to closure.
- Maintain disciplined CRM reporting and forecasting.
- Drive quarterly revenue targets.
- Work closely with marketing for city-level activations and institutional outreach.
Ideal Candidate Profile- 38 years of experience in IT infrastructure sales, EdTech B2B sales, enterprise SaaS sales, or hardware solution sales.
- Experience selling to universities, government institutions, or enterprises preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to close mid-to-large ticket B2B deals.
- Strong consultative selling skills with solution positioning capability.
- Ability to engage CXOs, academic leaders, and institutional decision-makers.
- Comfortable handling technical conversations around AI, infrastructure, and hardware differentiation.
Preferred Technical Understanding- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and local inference.
- Familiarity with AI PCs, GPU compute, edge AI systems, or enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Awareness of AI adoption challenges in education and MSMEs.
Deep technical expertise is not required, but the ability to communicate AI infrastructure value clearly is essential.
