Job Description

Role Overview:

The IT Sales Manager will be responsible for leading end-to-end business development and sales functions within the IT services domain. The role involves managing client acquisition, nurturing partnerships, and overseeing proposal and negotiation processes. The ideal candidate will be a proactive professional with a track record in achieving revenue targets, building long-term relationships, and leading a small team towards defined sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in IT services and digital transformation projects.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, decision-makers, and key client stakeholders.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.

Account Management & Client Relations

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring long-term client satisfaction.
  • Understand client pain points and collaborate with technical and delivery teams to propose effective solutions.
  • Drive account growth through up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.

Sales Planning & Reporting

  • Develop and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely reporting and forecasting accuracy.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for leadership review.
  • Work closely with the marketing and pre-sales teams to support proposal creation, capability decks, and client presentations.

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Mentor and guide junior business development executives and marketing associates.
  • Foster a collaborative, target-oriented, and learning-focused environment.
  • Participate in training and knowledge-sharing sessions to align the sales strategy with evolving market trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields (MBA preferred).
  • 48 years of proven experience in IT services sales or business development.
  • Strong understanding of software solutions, IT services, or digital transformation offerings.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage long-term client relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (knowledge of Salesforce CRM preferred).
  • Strategic mindset with a goal-driven, organized, and proactive approach.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to Salesforce ecosystem or CRM solution sales.
  • Experience working with international clients across multiple time zones.
  • Understanding of proposal and bid management processes.
