We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced US IT Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring IT professionals for our US-based clients. This role requires strong understanding of the US job market, technical skillsets, and various sourcing platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, screen, and shortlist qualified IT professionals for contract and full-time positions in the US market.
- Work on job requirements from clients or account managers and ensure timely delivery.
- Use job portals (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.) and social media platforms to source candidates.
- Evaluate candidates technical skills, experience, and compatibility with client requirements.
- Negotiate salary rates, employment terms, and coordinate interviews and onboarding.
- Maintain candidate databases and track recruiting activity using ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants, vendors, and clients.
- Stay updated with current hiring trends, visa classifications (H1B, Green Card, US Citizens, etc.), and compliance requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 35+ years of experience as a US IT Recruiter (agency or corporate).
- Strong understanding of IT skills (Java, .NET, Cloud, DevOps, Data, Cybersecurity, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with job boards (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, etc.) and LinkedIn recruiting.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with different US work authorizations (H1B, GC, USC, OPT, CPT, TN).
- Ability to work in US time zones.
- Experience using ATS tools (e.g., Bullhorn, CEIPAL, JobDiva) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding hiring targets.
- Prior experience in staffing agencies or with direct clients.
- Knowledge of IT consulting business models (C2C, W2, 1099).
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
