Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Product Manager with 6+ years of experience to drive the success of our digital and technology product portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen, hands-on experience with cloud-based and API-driven products, and a proven ability to lead end-to-end product lifecycles in Agile environments.
This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to define product strategy, deliver scalable solutions, and drive continuous innovation aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Roadmap
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals and market opportunities.
- Conduct market research, customer discovery, and competitive analysis to identify product enhancements and innovation opportunities.
- Drive data-driven decision-making using product analytics and customer insights.
- Lead product innovation initiatives, especially in cloud, AI/ML, automation, or digital transformation domains.
Product Lifecycle Management
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation, business case, and MVP definition through launch and continuous improvement.
- Prioritize product backlog based on customer value, ROI, and technical feasibility.
- Define success metrics and monitor product performance post-launch.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of SaaS or digital platforms.
Requirements Gathering and Documentation
- Work closely with customers, sales, and engineering teams to gather and document product and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
- Maintain product documentation including PRDs, workflows, architecture inputs, and API specifications.
- Design customer journeys and user experience flows where applicable.
Agile Delivery and Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner with engineering teams to plan and execute product development using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning.
- Manage dependencies, risks, and technical trade-offs across teams.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD and cloud deployment strategies.
Stakeholder Management and Communication
- Serve as the primary liaison between business, technology, and leadership stakeholders.
- Communicate product roadmap, releases, and performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and support teams on product positioning, enablement, and customer adoption.
- Support executive reporting and strategic product reviews.
Technical Leadership and Innovation
- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Drive adoption of modern architectures including cloud, APIs, automation, and AI/ML where relevant.
- Monitor product KPIs, user behavior, and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Champion continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
Team and Vendor Collaboration
- Work with distributed or remote teams and external partners/vendors.
- Support hiring, mentoring, or guiding product squad members when required.
- Foster a high-performance, agile product culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus).
- 58+ years of experience in Product Management or Technical Product Management.
- Strong technical background in software development, cloud platforms, or API-driven systems.
- Proven experience delivering SaaS or cloud-based products.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is highly desirable.
- Exposure to AI/ML, automation, or digital transformation initiatives is a strong advantage.
- Prior experience in B2B and/or B2C digital products preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
