The Manager IT & Operations will be responsible for overseeing IT project coordination, website operations, and India-based operational setup, including warehouse management and logistics. This role will act as a bridge between business, IT, operations, and the US team, ensuring timely delivery of technology initiatives and smooth execution.
1. IT & Digital Operations Management
- Act as the primary IT coordination lead between business stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.
- Gather, document, and validate business & technical requirements.
- Ensure disciplined usage of tools such as Basecamp, Jira, timesheets, and billing systems.
- Coordinate all website-related activities, including:
- Catalog creation & maintenance
- Product uploads and updates
- New product launches
- Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and ensure on-time project delivery.
- Drive structured meetings by preparing agendas, MOMs, and closure of action items.
2. Operations & Warehouse Management (India)
- Lead the setup of India warehouse operations, including:
- Process definition for order fulfillment & shipping
- Documentation of SOPs
- Hire, train, and manage the India operations & warehouse team.
- Own relationships with local vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Coordinate closely with logistics partners to ensure accurate, timely shipments.
- Drive cost control, efficiency, and quality standards across daily operations.
- Manage and optimize India team resources (capacity, workload, productivity).
3. Stakeholder Communication & Governance
- Serve as the single point of contact for:
- Business
- IT
- Operations
- US leadership team
- Provide clear, structured updates to the US team, including:
- Weekly/monthly status reports
- Roadmaps and delivery timelines
- Risk and dependency tracking
- Ensure leadership has full visibility into progress, issues, and outcomes.
Candidate Should have
- 7+ years experience in IT operations, project coordination, or tech-enabled operations
- Prior exposure to Magento ecommerce, B2B, retail tech (strong plus)
- Experience working with US or global stakeholders
- Strong command over project tools (Jira/Basecamp or equivalents)
- Able to understand the Business Operations
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
