Role Description The Information Technology Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Thiruvarur, responsible for overseeing all technology operations across the retail network and textile facilities. This role includes managing IT infrastructure, ensuring stable and secure networks, supervising hardware and software maintenance, and coordinating with vendors for system upgrades and support. The manager will implement and maintain retail and ERP systems, monitor data security and backup processes, and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize operational downtime. Day-to-day activities involve leading the IT support team, defining and enforcing IT policies, documenting processes, and collaborating with store and corporate leadership to align technology solutions with business needs. The role also includes planning for future technology improvements to support scalability, efficiency, and a high-quality customer experience.
Qualifications

Strong skills in IT infrastructure management, including servers, networks, and hardware maintenance, with experience ensuring system reliability and performance.
Proficiency in retail and business applications such as POS systems, ERP or inventory management solutions, and related software integration.
Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, data protection, backup and recovery procedures, and user access management.
Experience in IT support and troubleshooting, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and documentation of technical issues.
Ability to manage IT projects, coordinate external vendors, and oversee implementation of new systems or upgrades.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear guidance for non-technical team members.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team supervision, workload prioritization, and mentoring of IT staff.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience in IT management will also be considered.
Experience in retail or textile industry environments is an advantage, particularly in multi-location operations.
Willingness to work on-site in Thiruvarur and to respond to urgent issues during peak business periods
