Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Manager to oversee our organization's IT infrastructure, hardware assets, cloud services, and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing laptops and desktops (procurement, invoicing, and lifecycle), cloud platforms, IT budgets, and a small team of IT support staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day technology operations across the company.
Key Responsibilities
Hardware & Asset Management
Manage procurement, allocation, and tracking of laptops, desktops, and other IT hardware for employees. Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, warranties, and asset lifecycle(purchase to disposal). Review, verify, and process vendor invoices related to laptop/desktop purchases, repairs, and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts). Coordinate with vendors for pricing, quotations, and timely delivery of equipment. Ensure proper onboarding/offboarding hardware setup for new joiners and exiting employees.
Cloud & Infrastructure Management
Manage and monitor cloud services/platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) including provisioning, licensing, and cost optimization. Ensure data backup, security, and disaster recovery processes are in place for cloud and on-premise systems. Manage user access, permissions, and security policies across cloud and internal systems. Evaluate and recommend new tools/technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Team & Vendor Management
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT support executives/engineers. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely resolution of IT support tickets. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and networking needs. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective service delivery.
Budgeting & Documentation
Prepare and manage the IT budget, including hardware purchases, software licenses, and cloud subscriptions. Maintain documentation for IT policies, processes, SOPs, and asset registers. Generate regular reports on IT expenses, asset status, and team performance for management review.
IT Support & Troubleshooting
Oversee resolution of hardware, software, and network issues across the organization. Ensure minimal downtime through proactive maintenance and monitoring. Implement and enforce IT security best practices (antivirus, firewalls, data protection policies).
Cybersecurity
Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies aligned with Zero Trust principles. Manage Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), MFA, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM). Implement vulnerability management, endpoint protection, email security, and identity protection. Conduct security assessments, risk analysis, and remediation planning. Lead incident response, forensic investigations, and security awareness programs. Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS Benchmarks, NIST CSF, GDPR, or other relevant frameworks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. 8-12 years of experience in IT management, systems administration, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience managing laptops/desktops, hardware procurement, and vendor invoicing. • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and productivity suites(Google Workspace/Microsoft 365).
• Prior experience leading or supervising a team.
• Strong understanding of networking, IT security, and asset management practices.
• Excellent vendor negotiation, budgeting, and documentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA A+/Network+, or cloud certifications(AWS/Azure). Experience with IT asset management (ITAM) tools and helpdesk/ticketing software. Familiarity with procurement and invoice reconciliation processes.
