About the role:

Information Technology Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for defining, executing, and continuously evolving the organization's internal IT strategy, operations, and architecture to support business growth and operational excellence closely working with the Head of IT together.

This role will provide strategic direction, technological leadership, and operational oversight of global IT functions, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient technology platforms that enable business objectives. The role will lead and grow a high-performing global IT team, drive digital transformation initiatives, and ensure best-in-class IT governance, cybersecurity, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Strategy, Vision & Transformation

  • Be part of defining and execution of the global IT strategy aligned with organizational business goals
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise technology roadmap
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives across the organization
  • Provide strategic technology leadership and innovation enablement
  • Ensure scalable, secure, and future-ready IT architecture and solutions
  • Oversee enterprise architecture and solution design governance

2. IT Operations & Technology Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end IT operations including infrastructure, applications, cloud, and end-user computing
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of IT systems globally
  • Oversee enterprise applications, platforms, and systems integration
  • Drive automation and modernization initiatives
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies where appropriate

3. IT Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Establish and maintain IT governance frameworks
  • Ensure cybersecurity strategy, implementation, and ongoing risk management
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory, security, and audit requirements
  • Implement standardized processes, policies, and procedures globally
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence

4. Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global IT team
  • Strengthening organizational IT capabilities to support business growth
  • Drive talent development, succession planning, and building competency
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure effective workforce and resource planning

5. Global IT Leadership

  • Lead distributed IT teams across multiple regions including India, Germany, and the United States
  • Ensure effective global IT service delivery and operational alignment
  • Manage cross-regional collaboration and coordination
  • Engage and manage global stakeholders effectively

6. Program & Project Leadership

  • Lead large-scale IT programs and technology implementation initiatives
  • Ensure successful delivery of complex, multi-region IT projects
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources
  • Oversee vendor and partner relationships and delivery

7. Stakeholder & Business Engagement

  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on technology matters
  • Partner with business functions to understand and address technology needs
  • Translating business requirements into effective IT solutions
  • Provide executive-level reporting on IT performance and initiatives

8. Change Management & Innovation (Nice to have)

  • Lead organizational technology change initiatives
  • Drive adoption of new technologies and processes
  • Promote innovation and a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensure smooth transition and adoption of technology solutions

Experience:

  • 15+ years of progressive IT experience
  • Minimum 58 years in senior IT leadership roles
  • Proven experience leading global IT teams
  • Strong experience managing enterprise IT operations and infrastructure
  • Experience driving digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience working in global, multi-cultural environments
  • Experience in technology consulting or professional services organizations preferred
