Job Title: IT Manager – Manufacturing & Digital Innovation

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee and manage the organization's technology infrastructure within a manufacturing environment while driving digital transformation initiatives, including AI adoption, automation, and data-driven decision making.
The IT Manager will ensure reliable IT operations across production, ERP systems, cybersecurity, and networks while identifying opportunities to leverage AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics to improve operational efficiency, predictive maintenance, supply chain performance, and business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & Operations
- Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, and end-user systems.
- Ensure high availability of manufacturing systems, including ERP, MES, production software, and plant-floor technologies.
- Oversee IT support operations, ensuring timely resolution of system issues and minimal disruption to manufacturing activities.
- Manage IT vendors, service providers, and technology procurement.
Manufacturing Systems Management
- Support and optimize ERP systems, MES platforms, inventory systems, and production technologies.
- Ensure seamless integration between production lines, data systems, and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to improve data visibility across manufacturing processes.
AI & Digital Transformation
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI tools and automation into manufacturing workflows.
- Implement or support initiatives such as:
- Predictive maintenance using machine learning
- AI-based demand forecasting
- Computer vision for quality control
- Automation of reporting and analytics
- Work with leadership to develop a digital transformation roadmap.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and best practices across the organization.
- Protect company data, intellectual property, and operational systems from cyber threats.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data security and IT governance standards.
Data & Analytics
- Develop and manage data infrastructure and reporting tools.
- Enable real-time dashboards for production, supply chain, and management reporting.
- Support the development of data-driven decision making across departments.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the IT team and coordinate with external consultants when necessary.
- Train staff on new technologies, systems, and security practices.
- Align IT initiatives with the company's strategic and operational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5–10 years of IT experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of:
- ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
- Manufacturing IT systems (MES, SCADA, PLC integrations)
- Network infrastructure and cybersecurity
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Experience managing IT infrastructure in production environments.
