Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Trainee to assist in day-to-day IT operations and technical support activities. The trainee will receive practical exposure to desktop support, hardware and software troubleshooting, network support, cloud operations, server management, system configuration, and IT asset management. Based on performance, candidates will be offered a Full-Time role as an IT Support Executive.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
Assist in Windows installation, software installation, system upgrades, and operating system configuration.
Support basic server administration, cloud operations, and user account management.
Assist in LAN, Wi-Fi, internet, and network troubleshooting.
Configure and maintain printers, biometric devices, CCTV systems, and other office IT infrastructure.
Perform system health checks, data backups, and preventive maintenance activities.
Maintain IT asset records, inventory, and system documentation.
Assist in user onboarding by configuring laptops, desktops, email accounts, and system access.
Handle IT support tickets and ensure timely resolution of user issues.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, warranty claims, and IT procurements.
Maintain proper documentation of IT support activities and issue logs.
Follow IT security policies, data protection standards, and backup procedures.
Assist in day-to-day IT administration and infrastructure support.
Required Qualifications
Graduate or pursuing graduation in BCA, B.Sc IT, Diploma in IT, Computer Engineering, BE, B.Tech, MCA, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Windows OS, MS Office, printers, and desktop support.
Basic understanding of cloud computing, Windows Server, or Linux will be an added advantage.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
