What will you be doing

As an Information Technology Intern (FTC), you will provide support to the IT department to ensure the quality and delivery of IT systems for both the hotel and its guests. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • IT Systems Support: Assist with the day-to-day support of all internal hotel IT systems, minimizing any system outages and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Issue Tracking & Reporting: Record any IT-related issues that arise and communicate them to the IT Manager, ensuring that any issues requiring further attention are addressed promptly.
  • System Improvement Suggestions: Identify potential areas for improvement within the hotel's IT systems and recommend these improvements to the IT Manager.
  • Guest IT Support: Communicate with the hotel Business Center Team to assist with any guest-related IT requirements and ensure a seamless IT experience for guests.

What are we looking for

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualities and qualifications:

  • IT Experience: Previous experience in IT, preferably within the hotel, leisure, or service sectors.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft systems and applications. Knowledge of hotel applications, such as Fidelio and Micros, is preferred.
  • Organizational & Interpersonal Skills: Strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with both team members and guests.
  • Current Technical Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of technology trends and technical skills to support hotel IT systems effectively.
