Role Description The Information Technology Instructor will deliver engaging IT training sessions for K–12 learners and educators, using Next Education's digital platforms and content. Responsibilities include planning and conducting classroom and online lessons, demonstrating practical IT concepts, and guiding learners in using Windows-based systems and e-learning tools effectively. The instructor will customize training materials to meet curriculum requirements, assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate training records. The role also involves collaborating with academic and product teams to refine content based on classroom experience and supporting schools in adopting Next Education's technology solutions. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Chennai, with a mix of on-site work at partner schools or training centers and some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Information Technology, including computer fundamentals, operating systems, and basic networking concepts.
- Proficiency in Teaching, Training, and facilitation, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse learner groups.
- Experience with E-Learning platforms, digital classrooms, and technology-enabled pedagogy.
- Hands-on skills with Windows environments, including configuration, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA) are an advantage.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with strong classroom management and learner engagement abilities.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setup in Chennai, including travel to partner schools within the region as needed.
- Prior experience in K–12 education or edtech training is preferred, along with a demonstrated interest in 21st‑century skills and student-centered learning.
