Position: IT Infrastructure Specialist

Number of the Post: 1 (One) contractual

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive IT Infrastructure Specialist to manage, maintain, and enhance our organization's technology backbone. This role ensures the reliability, security, and scalability of our IT systems, networks, and hardware, supporting smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain servers, networks, and storage systems.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.

Manage cloud services, virtualization platforms, and data centers.

Ensure system security, backups, and disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.

Collaborate with IT teams to support application deployment and integration.

Maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, policies, and procedures.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and scalability.

Provide technical support and training to staff on infrastructure-related issues.

Ensure compliance with IT governance, standards, and security protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, networking (LAN/WAN), firewalls, and VPNs.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

Proficiency in system monitoring tools and IT service management practices.

Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection regulations.

Hands-on experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA Network+, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

57 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.

Salary: INR 50,000 (Negotiable) and Health Insurance as per university norms
