ROLE - IT Infratructure Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

OVERVIEW We are seeking a highly motivated Network Engineer with experience in network administration and a strong understanding of networking fundamentals. This role offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, contributing to the overall success of our network infrastructure through support, monitoring, and project participation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide first- and second-level support for network infrastructure issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems efficiently.
• Monitor network performance, identify potential issues proactively, and assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
• Participate in network projects, assisting with design, implementation, and testing of new solutions, while documenting configurations and procedures.
• Collaborate with other IT teams, stay current with networking technologies, and contribute to security policies and capacity planning.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience) with network administration. Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, security concepts). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.

o Professional 3 (7+ years of experience)

Preferred: Experience with network monitoring tools (INMON, Zabbix), enterprise network equipment (Aruba), virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud platforms (GCP), relevant industry certifications (CCNA, CCNP), and knowledge of Python
