Information Technology Executive

Location: Khiddirpur, Hide Road, Kolkata

Experience: 3 to 5 Years

Education: B.Tech / MCA / BCA / Diploma in Computer Science or IT

Salary: upto 50k (May discuss about the package for right candidates)

Working days: Monday to Saturday

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Administration & Infrastructure

Manage IT infrastructure: servers (on-prem & cloud), desktops, laptops, printers, networking equipment

Administer OS, email systems, domain, ERP/TOS, accounting and business applications

Network management: LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, firewall, VPN, IP planning

User access management, onboarding/offboarding

Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning

Asset management, AMC and vendor coordination

2. IT Security & Compliance

Define and implement IT security policies and SOPs

Manage firewall, antivirus, endpoint security, patch management

Secure servers, APIs, databases, websites, and mobile apps

Log monitoring, access audit, and incident response

Data protection, encryption, and role-based access control

Support compliance needs (ISO 27001 readiness, audits, regulatory IT requirements)

3. Software Development & Application Management

Design, develop, or supervise development of:

Web applications

Internal business software (ERP modules, portals, dashboards)

API services (REST/JSON, authentication, integrations)

Mobile applications (Android / iOS native or hybrid)

Select technology stack suitable for MSME cost and scalability

Review source code, architecture, and security practices

Manage application lifecycle: development, testing, deployment, maintenance

Ensure performance, scalability, and data security of applications

4. Website, API & Mobile App Management

Manage company website: hosting, performance, security, SEO coordination

API development & integration with third-party systems (payment gateway, government portals, EDI, CRM, ERP, RFID, IoT systems)

Manage mobile apps: releases, Play Store / App Store compliance, bug fixes

Version control and CI/CD coordination

Monitor uptime, performance, and error logs

5. IT Project Implementation & Digital Transformation

Lead IT and digital projects including:

ERP / TOS / CRM implementation

Gate automation, RFID, CCTV, Wi-Fi systems

Payment gateway, cloud migration, system integrations

Prepare project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk assessments

Coordinate with software vendors, developers, and system integrators

Conduct UAT, Go-Live, training, and post-implementation support

6. Vendor & Team Coordination

Act as technical SPOC for vendors and consultants

Evaluate vendors, negotiate cost, and manage deliverables

Mentor junior IT staff / developers (if any)

Outsource development where needed while maintaining technical control

7. Documentation, SOPs & Reporting

Maintain documentation for:

Infrastructure and network diagrams

Software architecture and APIs

Security policies and DR plans

User manuals and training material

Provide MIS and IT health reports to management

Required Skills & Competencies:

Infrastructure & Security

Windows/Linux Server administration

Networking, Firewall, VPN, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP hands-on or supervisory)

Cybersecurity fundamentals and best practices

Software & Development

Backend: Java / .NET / Python / Node.js (any one strong)

Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React / Angular preferred)

APIs: REST, JSON, OAuth, JWT

Database: SQL Server / MySQL / PostgreSQL

Mobile Apps: Android / iOS / Flutter / React Native

Git, CI/CD basics

Soft Skills:

Business understanding & cost optimization
