Job Description

The Business Tech Analyst translates business requirements into detailed system requirements within their defined technical domain.

Performs requirements gathering sessions with business partners, stakeholders, and SMEs to develop functional requirements documentation.

Develops test scripts aligned to business requirements used to validate products during UAT phase of project.

Analyses the systems and procedures of his/her scope to design functional specifications for enhancement.

Interacts frequently with internal customers, developers, and project managers.

Responsibilities:

Meet with business stakeholders and sponsors to understand business requirements, then create functional requirements documentation.

Meet with technical and development teams to communicate business requirements documentation and is responsible to ensure all technical teams fully understand business requirements.

Regular participation in all technical activities related to the projects including vendor selection, solution design, application development, UAT, deployment, training and project close-out.

Perform basic to moderate configuration changes in Salesforce under the direction of the Salesforce Solution Engineer.

Leads change management activities for the Sales and Marketing team

STUDY

  • Identify areas for systems improvement by interacting with internal customers and analyzing existing systems.
  • Enhance opportunities by identifying new software/service to be developed, translate business processes and requirements into system enhancements.
  • Analyze and decompose complex functional requirements into specifications.

DESIGN

  • Define application needs, perform gap analysis and identify feasible solutions.
  • Create functional specifications.
  • Prepare flowcharts.
  • Prepare technical user manuals, system configuration documents and other technical reports.
  • Define controls, conversion procedures and system implementation plans.

BUILD

  • Oversees the development of the system as per the specifications.
  • Lead implementation and document system changes.
  • Facilitate the change and the configuration management
  • Monitor the performance, discover variances and propose necessary actions.
  • Validate the functionality of the end product according to the requirement specifications
  • Can have technical or systems design responsibilities including configuring, updating and installing the enhancements
  • Can have ongoing duties not specific to projects that involve executing certain processes using the system of expertise (reporting, data updates, testing, troubleshooting)
  • Helps and supports the functional tests plan to ensure the solution is meeting the functional requirements defined by the business.

Required Skills:

8-10 years of experience.

5+ years of experience as a IT Business Analyst.

Candidates from HR & Labour Domain experience is mandatory.
