with state governments and mobilises village communities to advance girls education in India's rural and
educationally underserved regions. Since 2007, the organization has supported the enrolment of over 20
lakh girls across 30,000+ villages in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar.Over the next 10 years, Educate Girls aims to impact 10 million learners by: Continuing Vidya, our Back-to-School Program, which identifies out-of-school girls (ages 6-14), supports enrolment and retention in government schools and strengthens foundational learning and life skills. Scaling up India's largest second-chance education initiative Pragati, targeting adolescent girls and young women (ages 1529) who drop out due to societal barriers & systemic gaps and are now ineligible for formal schooling. Pragati delivers village-based learning camps to build life skills, enhance agency and enable learners to earn their Grade 10 certifications through State Open Schools. Strengthening open schooling systems in 12 states through Technical Assistance Units (TAUs) in partnership with the government. These units focus on improving access to and the quality of State Open Schools to support learners in the Pragati program. Together, these programs embody our mission to ensure that every girl is included, educated, and empowered - driving lasting transformation in education and gender equity across India. About the role: The IT Executive shall serve as the in-charge of IT operations for end users at the Head Office, overseeing all aspects of end-userrelated concerns and implementation. The incumbent will support IT procurement activities, manage the deployment and administration of IT assets, and address all end users-related matters at the Head Office. The role entails ensuring the smooth functioning of IT operations, resolving technical issues promptly, and maintaining overall system efficiency. The incumbent will be responsible for providing regular updates on daily activities through analytical reports, conducting end-user training on IT applications and asset uses, and coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless and effective IT operations In this role, you will be responsible for: Provide L1/L2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals at the head office and remote locations. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS, and network (LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN) issues efficiently. Configure and maintain Outlook/O365/Google Workspace, network drives, and perform data backups/restores for users. Support remote users and branch offices via VPN or remote tools (e.g., Any Desk, TeamViewer, RDP). Collaborate with network, server, and security teams for escalations and system dependencies. Manage IT setup and provide on-site technical support for conference rooms and office events during meetings, presentations, and client sessions. Manage local user accounts, profiles, and access permissions in line with IT policies. Perform Windows updates and Microsoft online patching to maintain system stability and security. Enforce endpoint security policies (antivirus, password standards, and system lockout rules). Support implementation of data backup, access control, and endpoint monitoring best practices. Conduct daily monitoring of server room temperature and equipment LED status, and accurately record all observations in Excel-based monitoring sheets. Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date inventory of all IT assets, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and accessories, using Excel and asset management tools. Keep track of all IT assets when they are assigned, returned, or moved, and ensure every asset has the correct tag and is properly recorded in the inventory. Conduct periodic preventive maintenance and physical verification of IT assets, ensuring all records are accurately updated and matched with the master inventory Follow up with suppliers for IT consumables and spare parts to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations. Assist in vendor performance evaluations by providing regular feedback on service quality, response time, and SLA adherence. Coordinate with HR and IT teams to set up systems for new employees, ensure timely provisioning of IT assets during on-boarding, and manage system return and data clean-up during off-boarding. Record, track, and close daily incident tickets and service requests using Excel-based tracking sheets. Install, update, and maintain business-critical applications, drivers, and licensed software. Perform hardware diagnostics and component replacements, coordinating with vendors and OEMs for timely repairs, replacements, and warranty claims Technical Skills: Operating Systems: Windows 10/11, Mac OS, Linux (basic knowledge) Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN configuration, network printer setup Security: Antivirus, BitLocker, patch management, endpoint hardening Scripting: PowerShell / Batch (basic automation) Education Background: Education -: Diploma / Graduate / B.E. / B. Tech / B.Sc. in IT, Computer Science, or related field. Fluent in Hindi and English. The candidate should possess hands-on experience in setting up LAN, WAN, troubleshooting of computers, accessories, and peripheral devices.
