Role Overview
WFS is seeking a talented and forward-looking IT professional to oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers. This role will be responsible for installing and upgrading hardware and software, ensuring system stability, and actively participating in research and development to continuously align IT operations with evolving business needs. The candidate will also play a critical role in troubleshooting and resolving IT issues to minimize disruptions across the network.
In addition, given today's digital landscape, data security is of paramount importance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Information Security Management System (ISMS) principles and will contribute valuable insights to enhance the security and resilience of company and customer data.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Administration & Support
Manage and administer Domain Controller in a Windows-based domain.
Provide Windows administration and support services, including hardware/software installation and specifications for procurement.
Perform installation, patching, and upgrading of operating systems in a Windows-based domain.
Provide support for software and application installations when required.
Manage Office 365 accounts, including user administration and licensing.
Responsible for monitoring, renewing, and maintaining software licenses.
Network & Communications
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues in LAN/WAN environments.
Configure network printers and manage network sharing.
Ensure PBX/IP phone systems are working effectively, including servicing and maintenance.
Monitor and maintain DVR systems, ensuring all cameras function properly and recordings are secured.
Asset Management & Audits
Manage IT asset inventory, ensuring accurate documentation and lifecycle tracking.
Conduct IT audits to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Support performance monitoring and optimization of IT systems.
End-User Support
Assist end users with basic computer and laptop hardware troubleshooting.
Support installation and upgrades of laptop hardware and computer peripherals.
Provide frontline support for IT-related queries, escalating issues where necessary.
IT Security & Compliance
Support ISMS initiatives and contribute to strengthening data security practices.
Monitor system performance to identify vulnerabilities or potential risks.
Assist in implementing corrective and preventive measures to reduce IT-related disruptions.
Required Qualification
Bachelor's degree in computer science/information technology, or related field with a focus on Information Security.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in System Administration in a Windows environment
Demonstrable experience in O365 including Azure Active Directory.
Experience in India IT environment is a must.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Windows domain administration and Active Directory management.
Networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Knowledge of Office 365 administration and licensing.
Hands-on experience with PBX/IP telephony and CCTV systems.
Familiarity with IT asset management tools and audit processes.
Understanding of IT security frameworks (ISMS). Patch management and endpoint/device security.
