Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with strong DevOps capabilities to design, manage, and optimize secure, scalable infrastructure. The ideal candidate has deep Linux expertise, hands-on cloud experience, and a passion for building reliable systems through automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Linux-based systems and server infrastructure
- Build, configure, and manage web services using Apache/Nginx with PHP-FPM
- Manage and optimize DNS, databases (MySQL / MariaDB), and system performance
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Perl, and Python
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
- Perform advanced network troubleshooting and system diagnostics
- Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker
- Configure and maintain firewalls and enforce security best practices
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure, preferably on AWS or DigitalOcean
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Manage sensitive configuration and secrets, preferably using HashiCorp Vault
- Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of systems
- Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 years of professional experience as a Systems Engineer
- Strong expertise in Linux Operating Systems
- Proven experience managing web services (Apache/Nginx, PHP-FPM)
- Solid background in DNS and database management
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Perl, Python)
- Hands-on DevOps experience using GitLab CI/CD (required)
- Strong network troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Docker and containerized environments
- Experience managing firewalls and system security
- Hands-on cloud computing experience (required), preferably AWS or DigitalOcean
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning (required)
- Familiarity with secrets management, preferably HashiCorp Vault
