ICT Teacher – Role (IB School)
- Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned with the IB curriculum (PYP/MYP/DP as applicable)
- Integrate technology across subjects to enhance inquiry-based learning
- Teach digital literacy, coding, computational thinking, and responsible use of technology
- Design projects that promote problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration
- Support students in research, presentations, and use of digital tools
- Assess student progress using IB assessment criteria and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with teachers to embed ICT in interdisciplinary units
- Manage and maintain classroom technology resources effectively
- Promote digital citizenship, cyber safety, and ethical technology use
- Stay updated with emerging educational technologies and IB best practices
Pre-requisites / Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- B.Ed. or relevant teaching qualification (preferred/mandatory as per school policy)
- Experience in IB curriculum (PYP/MYP/DP) or international curriculum preferred
- Strong knowledge of:
- Programming (Scratch, Python, etc.)
- Google Workspace / Microsoft tools
- Educational technology platforms and LMS
- Understanding of inquiry-based and student-centered learning approaches
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to integrate ICT across subjects rather than teaching in isolation
- Certifications in ICT/EdTech or IB training (added advantage)
