Job Title : Data Engineer (Informatica MDM Developer)

Role Overview

We are looking for an Informatica MDM Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience to support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise master data solutions. The role involves working on Customer, Product, and Supplier master data domains, configuring data models, supporting match and merge processes, improving data quality, and building integrations that help deliver trusted golden records across business systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and configuration of Informatica MDM Hub data models, including base objects, dependent objects, relationships, and hierarchies.

• Assist in configuring and tuning match and merge, survivorship, trust rules, and duplicate data handling processes.

• Configure and enhance MDM workflows, business rules, and stewardship processes based on project requirements.

• Develop and support integrations using Informatica PowerCenter, IDMC, or related ETL tools for data loads, synchronization, and batch processing.

• Implement and support data quality validations, standardization rules, and issue remediation for master data records.

• Work with application and business teams to support mastered data publishing through APIs, extracts, and downstream integrations.

• Collaborate with business users, data stewards, and technical teams to understand requirements and support MDM solution delivery.

• Prepare technical documentation, support testing activities, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in continuous improvement of MDM processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Informatica MDM in development, configuration, or support roles

• Good understanding of master data domains such as Customer, Product, or Supplier

• Experience with match and merge, survivorship, trust configuration, XREF, and golden record concepts

• Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, IDMC, or other ETL/data integration tools

• Knowledge of data quality concepts including validation, standardization, cleansing, and issue analysis

• Strong SQL skills and sound understanding of relational databases, data modelling, and performance basics

• Exposure to REST APIs, batch integration patterns, and system-to-system data exchange

• Ability to understand source-to-target mappings and end-to-end master data flows across enterprise applications

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders

Good to Have

• Exposure to Informatica Data Quality, data governance concepts, or metadata management tools

• Experience with deployment processes, release management, or CI/CD practices for data applications

• Exposure to cloud data platforms, migration initiatives, or modern data architecture concepts

• Understanding of data stewardship, governance workflows, and master data lifecycle processes

• Experience integrating master data with systems such as ERP, CRM, or downstream reporting platforms

• Relevant certification or training in Informatica MDM, data integration, or data management concepts is an added advantage.
