Informatica IDMC

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in Informatica IDMC (Intelligent Data Management Cloud). You'll be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing complex data integration solutions, leveraging both cloud and on-premise Informatica tools. This role requires a professional with a keen eye for performance tuning and a solid understanding of database operations and basic Unix scripting.

Project Description

As a key member of our team, you'll contribute to a critical project focused on data integration and management. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining robust data pipelines, ensuring efficient data flow across various systems, and handling complex data transformations. This involves significant work with both Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex mappings, mapplets, workflows, and applications using both Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
• Implement robust exception handling mechanisms within data integration processes.
• Effectively utilize various reference tables to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Conduct thorough performance tuning of Informatica mappings and workflows to optimize data processing.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for Oracle or Azure SQL (SQL Server) databases.
• Develop and maintain basic Unix scripts for automation and data manipulation.
• Work with scheduling tools such as Ctrl-M or Autosys for job orchestration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver efficient solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Qualification: BE/BTech.
• Overall Experience: 10+ years.
• Relevant Experience: 8-10 years in Informatica.
• Mandatory Skills:Extensive experience with Informatica IDMC (Intelligent Data Management Cloud) is a MUST.
• 8-10+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
• Strong hands-on experience in the creation of complex Mappings, Mapplets, Workflows, and Applications.
• Proven experience in exception handling and the use of different reference tables.
• Expertise in performance tuning of Informatica solutions.
• Strong database skills, including writing complex SQL queries for Oracle or Azure SQL (SQL Server).
• Secondary Skills:Basic Unix scripting skills.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Ctrl-M, Autosys).

Additional Information

• Vendor Billing: INR 11,000/Day.
• Background Check: Minimum BGV to be completed before joining.
• Drug Test: Not required.
