Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Migration Strategy: Design and document the end-to-end migration path for Informatica MDM, PowerCenter, and IDQ, ensuring minimal business downtime and data integrity.
  • Platform Configuration: Perform the installation and configuration of the Informatica 10.5.x stack on JBoss EAP 8.0 within the VMC environment.
  • Database Transition: Coordinate with DBAs to migrate Oracle schemas and Operational Reference Stores (ORS) while maintaining performance tuning for the cloud environment.
  • Network & Connectivity: Configure and troubleshoot connectivity between Cloud VMC, Colocation assets, and on-premises legacy systems (VPN, Direct Connect, Firewall rules).
  • Upgrades & Patching: Manage the Hotfix and Service Pack application process (HF4/10.5.4) to ensure the target environment is optimized and secure.
  • Validation & Testing: Lead the Technical Recovery Testing (TRT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify data parity between source and target systems.
  • Performance Tuning: Optimize JBoss JVM settings and Informatica integration service parameters for the new virtualized hardware specs.


Required Qualifications

  • Experience in Informatica development/architecture, with at least 1 full-lifecycle cloud migration projects.
  • MDM Expertise: Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM 10.5+, including Hub Console, Process Server, and ActiveVOS.
  • Infrastructure Knowledge: Strong understanding of VMware Cloud (VMC) on AWS/Azure and hybrid networking (COLO integration).
  • Middleware: Expert-level knowledge of JBoss EAP 8.0 (standalone/domain modes) and Java 17+ configurations.
  • ETL/DQ: Advanced proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter and IDQ 10.5.x (Developer and Analyst tools).
  • Database: Strong Oracle SQL/PL-SQL skills and experience with Oracle RAC or OCI-based Oracle migrations.
