Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with strong expertise in Informatica IICS (Intelligent Cloud Services) and PowerCenter to design, develop, and optimize data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, performance tuning, and SQL, along with experience in scheduling tools and agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop ETL workflows using Informatica IICS and PowerCenter
  • Implement performance tuning strategies for ETL processes
  • Design and develop ETLs for fact and dimension tables using SCD Type-II
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for Oracle, DB2, Teradata
  • Prepare ETL specification documents and collaborate with testers and PMO
  • Work with scheduling tools like ESP, Control-M, Autosys
  • Participate in discussions with business users and IT stakeholders
  • Provide support for ODS/EDW environments and troubleshoot issues

Essential Technical Skills:

  • Strong ETL background, preferably with IICS experience
  • Proficient in SQL and database concepts
  • Knowledge of Informatica transformations and performance tuning
  • Experience with Oracle, DB2, Teradata
  • Familiarity with UNIX shell scripting and utilities
  • Exposure to Business Objects, Tableau (preferred)
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and SDLC
