Informatica Admin

Job Description:

• We are looking for an experienced Informatica Administrator with 5 9 years of experience in administering supporting and maintaining Informatica environments
• The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter administration installation configuration performance tuning migration activities and production support

Key Responsibilities:

• A day in the life of an Infoscion
• As part of the Infosys delivery team your primary role would be to interface with the client for quality assurance issue resolution and ensuring high customer satisfaction
• You will understand requirements create and review designs validate the architecture and ensure high levels of service offerings to clients in the technology domain
• You will participate in project estimation provide inputs for solution delivery conduct technical risk planning perform code reviews and unit test plan reviews
• You will lead and guide your teams towards developing optimized high quality code deliverables continual knowledge management and adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes

Technical Requirements:

• Key Responsibilities
• Install configure upgrade and administer Informatica PowerCenter environments
• Manage Informatica repositories integration services and domain administration
• Monitor workflows sessions and system performance
• Perform code migrations across Development QA UAT and Production environments
• Troubleshoot job failures and resolve Informatica related issues
• Implement performance tuning and capacity planning activities
• Manage user access security and role based permissions
• Schedule and monitor batch jobs using enterprise schedulers
• Coordinate with ETL developers DBAs and infrastructure teams
• Support production incidents and ensure SLA compliance
• Perform backup recovery and disaster recovery activities
• Required Skills
• 5 9 years of experience in Informatica Administration
• Strong knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter
• Experience in Informatica installation configuration patching and upgrades
• Hands on experience with Linux Unix administration
• Good knowledge of Oracle SQL Server or other relational databases
• Experience in workflow monitoring and performance tuning
• Knowledge of shell scripting
• Understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing
