- 59 years of hands-on experience as an Informatica Administrator managing multi-environment setups (DEV/TEST/PROD).
- Strong expertise in Informatica administration, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and patch management.
- Proven experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Informatica services, workflows, and sessions.
- Solid understanding of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for Informatica repositories and configurations.
- Experience with user and security management within Informatica (roles, privileges, folders, and access controls).
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment, partnering with cross-functional teams and providing clear, structured communication.
- Relevant Informatica Admin certification (as specified) or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
- Install, configure, and upgrade Informatica platform components (Domain, Repository, Integration Services, etc.) across environments.
- Administer and maintain Informatica services, including user management, security, folders, and permissions in line with organizational standards.
- Monitor platform health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks, failures, and capacity issues.
- Manage environment migrations (DEV/TEST/UAT/PROD), including deployment of objects, patches, and hotfixes following change management processes.
- Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning for Informatica repositories and configuration, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Collaborate with ETL and data engineering teams to troubleshoot workflow/session failures, connectivity issues, and performance problems.
- Optimize ETL jobs and workflows by tuning configurations, session parameters, and resource allocations.
- Implement and enforce security and compliance policies for Informatica environments, including audit and access controls.
- Automate routine administrative tasks (monitoring, restarts, deployments) using scripts and, where applicable, containerization tools such as Docker.
- Maintain documentation for architecture, configurations, standard operating procedures, and runbooks for production support.
- Provide on-call and production support for critical incidents, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.
- Partner with infrastructure teams on server, storage, and network requirements, and coordinate with vendors for product-related issues.
