Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Infor Birst Developer with 8-15+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Infor Birst development, including the design, development, and deployment of data visualizations, dashboards, and reports within Infor Birst Analytics. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and delivering robust data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infor Birst Development: Develop and configure Infor Birst data models, dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Data Integration & ETL: Design and implement data integration processes from multiple sources to Infor Birst, ensuring accurate and efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Data Modeling: Design and maintain data models within Infor Birst to support business intelligence and reporting requirements.
- Dashboard & Report Development: Create dynamic, interactive dashboards and reports to meet business requirements, enabling users to visualize key business metrics and trends.
- Optimization & Performance Tuning: Optimize Birst reports, queries, and data models for performance to ensure timely and accurate data retrieval.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work with business users and functional teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications for development.
- System Integration: Integrate Infor Birst with other enterprise applications and systems to consolidate data and provide business insights.
- Training & Support: Provide training to business users and support teams on how to use Infor Birst reports and dashboards effectively.
- Documentation: Maintain proper documentation for all data models, reports, and dashboard configurations.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support for Birst applications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth functioning of the reporting system.
Key Skills and Experience:
- 8-15+ years of experience in Infor Birst development, including reporting, dashboards, and data integration.
- Strong experience in Birst data modeling, data flows, ETL processes, and report design.
- Expertise in data visualization tools and creating interactive dashboards in Infor Birst.
- Extensive experience with SQL for querying and reporting, along with a good understanding of data integration tools and processes.
- Hands-on experience with Birst Analytics, including data transformation, data blending, and building customized reports.
- Proficiency in data modeling within Birst, including the use of Birst's Web Services API for data integration.
- Strong understanding of business intelligence (BI) concepts, including data warehousing, OLAP cubes, and data visualizations.
- Knowledge of Infor ERP systems and how to integrate Birst with Infor CloudSuite or other enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and cloud-based integrations for data storage and retrieval.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex reporting issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with business users, analysts, and IT teams.
