About the Role
We are seeking Infectious Disease Specialists (Freelancers) to help improve how AI models understand, analyze, and reason about infectious diseases, antimicrobial therapies, outbreak management, diagnostic evaluations, and evidence-based clinical care.
In this role, you will leverage your expertise to create realistic infectious disease scenarios, evaluate AI-generated responses, develop expert reference answers, and provide structured feedback that helps improve the accuracy, clinical reasoning, and decision-making capabilities of advanced AI systems.
What You'll do
- Design realistic infectious disease and antimicrobial stewardship scenarios based on real-world clinical practice
- Develop expert-level reference responses aligned with current infectious disease guidelines and evidence-based standards of care
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for diagnostic accuracy, treatment appropriateness, antimicrobial selection, and patient safety
- Grade AI outputs using structured evaluation frameworks and rubrics
- Provide detailed written feedback to help improve model performance
- Participate in onboarding sessions, calibration exercises, and specialty-specific review activities
- Collaborate with AI researchers and healthcare experts to enhance model capabilities.
Researchers & Fellows
- Currently pursuing or have completed advanced training in Infectious Diseases or related disciplines
- Strong foundation in infectious disease diagnosis, antimicrobial management, and clinical decision-making
- Ability to apply evidence-based infectious disease principles to complex patient cases
Preferred Qualifications
- DM Infectious Diseases, DNB Infectious Diseases, Fellowship in Infectious Diseases, Tropical Medicine, HIV Medicine, or equivalent advanced training
- Experience in hospitals, infectious disease clinics, academic medical institutions, public health organizations, or infectious disease research centers
- Strong understanding of bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections, antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention and control, travel medicine, and outbreak response
- Ability to critically evaluate clinical evidence, infectious disease guidelines, and scientific literature
- Excellent written communication and analytical skillsPrior experience reviewing medical content, clinical documentation, infectious disease guidelines, or research publications is a plus
