Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Infection Control Nurse to join our team on-site at Motherhood's Kozhikode location. The Infection Control Nurse will play a key role in implementing infection prevention and control programs, monitoring and managing infectious risks, providing training to staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare safety protocols. Daily responsibilities include observing and enforcing hygiene practices, conducting audits, maintaining accurate records, and providing guidance to healthcare staff to prevent the spread of infection within the facility.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Infection Control and Infectious Diseases, with knowledge of prevention and management protocols
• Strong background in Nursing and Medicine, with applicable clinical experience
• Understanding of infections and their implications in a healthcare setting
• Excellent communication, training, and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in documenting and maintaining accurate records of interventions and compliance
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Nursing or a related medical field
• Certification or specialized training in infection control is a strong advantage
• Knowledge of national and local healthcare safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
