Job Overview

The Infection Control Nurse (ICN) will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving infection prevention and control practices across the hospital to ensure patient and staff safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement hospital infection prevention and control policies
• Conduct infection surveillance, audits, and risk assessments
• Monitor hand hygiene, biomedical waste management, and sterilization practices
• Conduct staff training and awareness programs on infection control
• Support NABH and statutory compliance related to infection control

Qualifications & Skills

• GNM or B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution
• Infection Control Nurse (ICN) certification mandatory
• Prior experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Knowledge of NABH standards and infection control protocols
