Role Overview

This role focuses on B2B demand generation and pipeline creation for industrial customers. We are looking for an Industrial Marketing Manager with 23 years of B2B marketing experience who has worked closely with industrial sales teams and understands long sales cycles, technical products, and consultative selling.

This is not a consumer, FMCG, or social media-only marketing role.

Preferred Industry Background

Experience in one or more of the following domains is strongly preferred:

Metrology, quality, or inspection solutions

Machine tools, CNC, or automation

Additive manufacturing or 3D printing

Cutting tools or industrial consumables

Industrial B2B or capital equipment marketing

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute B2B lead generation campaigns for industrial customers

Generate and manage marketing-qualified leads and support their conversion into sales opportunities

Work closely with sales to understand target industries, applications, and buying behaviour

Participate in weekly salesmarketing pipeline reviews and improve lead quality through feedback

Create application-based content, customer case studies, and technical LinkedIn posts

Manage LinkedIn campaigns and targeted B2B advertising

Support website optimisation for lead conversion

Track leads, opportunities, and campaign performance using CRM or tracking tools

Required Skills and Experience

23 years of experience in B2B marketing

Experience working with industrial or manufacturing-focused sales teams

Understanding of long sales cycles and consultative selling

Hands-on experience with LinkedIn B2B marketing

Ability to work independently and take ownership

Good to Have

Exposure to metrology, machine tools, additive manufacturing, or cutting tools

Experience with CRM systems and funnel tracking

Basic understanding of engineering or manufacturing terminology

Consistent flow of qualified inbound leads

Strong alignment with sales on pipeline movement

Reduced dependence on outbound-only sales efforts
