The opportunity - About the GDS Strategy Execution and Operations team & role

The GDS Global Industry Group Enablement team plays a pivotal role in supporting onshore industry group leaders and sector operations leadership across all industry groups, sectors, and geographies. The team is responsible for translating strategic priorities set by the Market Board into actionable initiatives. We help operationalize these strategies and drive execution to enhance performance and support the achievement of defined goals and targets.

By working closely with leadership, each MSE ensures alignment, consistency, and impact across global markets, making it a key enabler of success for the broader organization.

As a Industry Group Enabler (Rank 65) you will be expected provide an operational foundation for Industry Group strategic initiatives execution. This role is designed for individuals with strong analytical skills, commercial curiosity, and a disciplined approach to execution.

You will be responsible for ensuring pipeline hygiene, maintaining accurate CRM data, and delivering baseline reporting that supports leadership decision-making. The role also offers exposure to strategic priorities through insight brief preparation, and go-to-market support - positioning you for growth within the team.

Your key responsibilities

Reporting & Dashboarding

  • Deliver daily, weekly, and periodic performance reports on key KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain standard dashboards and templates using Power BI, Excel, newsletters, and other reporting tools.
  • Support pipeline reporting and hygiene management, including forecast tracking, account movement updates, and unassigned account reporting.
  • Prepare baseline reports and first-level analysis on pipeline, revenue, and pursuits to support performance reporting.

Research & Insights

  • Conduct targeted analysis and secondary research on key performance metrics, strategic accounts, industries, and stakeholders.
  • Generate insights for stakeholders on revenue, margin, pipeline, and NBD performance.
  • Perform research on clients, executives, and events, and track executive movements to support strategic planning.
  • Act as a reliable support resource for translating data into insights that inform strategic execution.

Content & Coordination

  • Share sector newsletters and summarize thought leadership content for internal distribution.
  • Update meeting materials and participate in meetings to capture call notes and action items.
  • Manage document uploads to SharePoint, Teams channels, and shared drives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and represent the market board within GDS for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Track progress on projects and initiatives, ensuring timely execution and follow-up.

Ad-hoc & Executive Support

  • Respond to requests from the Sector Operations Leader and other market board leaders.
  • Provide scaled support for core accounts and business development initiatives.
  • Offer foundational support for leadership meetings, reporting cycles, and communication materials.

Automation & Data Hygiene

  • Develop automated reporting solutions to streamline recurring tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain data accuracy across internal tools such as ARD and Mercury, ensuring CRM hygiene and integrity.
  • Support revenue reconciliation and data clean-up to ensure reporting reliability.

Sector Knowledge & Commercial Awareness

  • Build sector knowledge and commercial awareness to strengthen contributions to leadership discussions.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A Master's degree or bachelor's degree with relevant experience
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in a large Global organization preferred
  • Proven ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Exposure to tools like Tableau, PowerBi etc.
  • Credible experience working in a fast-moving, client-driven environment
