Job description:
We are seeking a results-drivenSales Engineerto promote and sellArc Gouging Carbon ElectrodesandSpecialty Carbon Graphite Productsdirectly to industrial clients. This role requires both a technical understanding of the products and a strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships within industrial sectors such as fabrication, steel manufacturing, foundries, and heavy engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct selling of carbon electrodes and graphite products to industries in the assigned region
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in maintenance, production, and procurement departments
- Conduct regularonsite visitsto understand customer requirements, offer technical guidance, and ensure product satisfaction
- Identify new sales opportunities and convert leads into long-term business relationships
- Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations and technical demonstrations
- Provide post-sales support and coordination with internal teams for delivery and service
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Maintain accurate sales records, activity logs, and CRM data
- Prepare periodic reports and forecasts for management review
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Education:
- Diploma or Degree inMechanical EngineeringorMetallurgical Engineering
- Experience:
- Minimum3 yearsof experience insales of industrial products
- Experience with carbon/graphite products, welding consumables, or similar industrial solutions is a strong advantage
- Skills:
- Strong technical and commercial acumen
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in the field
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
