Your new role challenging and future-oriented
- Diploma/bachelor's in mechanical engineering with 3-5 years of experience in component manufacturing on CNC machines
- Knowledge of programming, tooling & machining processes of CNC machines
- Familiar with Siemens & Fanuc controller CNC machine controller
- Proficiency in NX-CAM software
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings for heavy machining components
- Identify and resolve programming or machining issues, making adjustments to improve efficiency, quality, and safety
- Collaborate with machine operators & shop supervisor to prove out components on CNC machines, conduct operation trials, and verify program accuracy
- Conduct time studies and derive standard time for production processes.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with team members and cross-functional teams
