MARS Cosmetics is building high-quality, accessible beauty products for everyone. We are looking for an Industrial Designer to help shape the physical product experience across beauty tools, packaging, accessories, fixtures, and future hardware-led consumer products.
Role Overview
You will drive industrial design from concept to production, translating user needs, brand direction, and business requirements into thoughtful, manufacturable products. This role requires strong taste, practical problem-solving, and deep attention to form, function, materials, ergonomics, and production feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Design physical products across beauty, personal care, tools, packaging, and retail touchpoints
- Develop concepts, sketches, CAD models, renders, mockups, and prototypes
- Balance aesthetics, usability, cost, manufacturability, and brand fit
- Work closely with NPD, packaging, sourcing, engineering, and vendors to bring products into production
- Evaluate materials, finishes, mechanisms, CMF, and structural details
- Improve product usability, ergonomics, assembly, and perceived quality
- Support rapid iteration through prototyping, sampling, testing, and vendor feedback
- Build clear design specifications for execution with manufacturers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in consumer products, beauty, accessories, packaging, or related categories
- Strong portfolio showing excellent form development, detail sensitivity, and manufacturable design thinking
- Proficiency in CAD and visualization tools such as Rhino, SolidWorks, KeyShot, Blender, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of materials, production processes, and vendor development
- High ownership, taste, speed, and attention to detail

- Experience in beauty, personal care, packaging, or lifestyle consumer products
- Exposure to tooling, prototyping, retail fixtures, or mass manufacturing
- Ability to work across both 2D and 3D product experiences
