Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- User research, concept generation, prototyping, validation of concept etc. by applying Design Thinking process for Industrial Design.
- User workspace design for defence systems/equipment
- Design for human factors (ergonomics)
- Packaging and layout of defence systems/equipment
- Design for assembly, manufacturing and maintenance
- Development of soft model and mock-ups for concept evaluation and refinement
- Coordination with Engineering teams for concept optimization and detailing
- User experience design (user interface design) & Collaboration with software teams for implementation of the User InterfaceKey Skills:
- Creative Problem solving and conceptualization
- Good sketching and product visualization skills
- Proficient in 3D modelling and realistic rendering software tools
- Proficiency in image editing and graphic design software
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
