Title: Industrial Design Intern (1 Position)

Location: Bengaluru, India

Form8 Studio is an industrial and mobility design consultancy based in Bangalore, India. We collaborate with domestic and global clients to create user-focused, production-ready products. Our work spans industrial design, mobility, and future-focused product development.

This is a flexible hybrid internship based in Bengaluru, combining remote work with in-studio collaboration during key phases of the design process. The internship duration is 2 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

The Industrial Design Intern will support ongoing projects across product design, working on live projects related to sheet metal furniture and similar applications, while also receiving mentorship support for developing their personal portfolio projects.

• Work on live projects (sheet metal furniture & related products)
• Support concept development and ideation
• Create sketches, CAD models, and visualizations
• Assist with CMF (Color, Material, Finish) exploration
• Participate in reviews, prototyping, and design discussions

• Strong fundamentals in product thinking and form development
• Interest in furniture / product design and fabrication
• Skills in sketching and basic CAD tools
• Understanding of materials, manufacturing (especially sheet metal), and user-centered design
• Good communication and willingness to learn
• Pursuing or recently completed degree in Industrial Design or related field

• Experience working on real-world product and furniture design projects
• Mentorship on both live projects and personal portfolio development
• Exposure to design-to-production workflows
• Opportunity to contribute within a small, focused team
• Potential extension based on performance
