Industrial Design Intern

Role Description The Industrial Design Intern will work on-site full time at the Ahmedabad office, supporting the design team throughout the product development cycle. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with concept generation, sketching, 3D visualization, and translating ideas into initial product concepts. The intern will contribute to prototyping activities, including creating mock-ups, preparing models, and participating in design testing and iteration. The role involves supporting user-centric design research, gathering insights, and applying design thinking principles to refine product solutions. The intern will collaborate closely with engineers and designers, participate in design reviews, prepare presentation materials, and help document design decisions and specifications.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Industrial Design and Product Design, with the ability to work on user-centered product solutions.
• Ability to apply Design Thinking and Concept Generation techniques to explore and refine multiple design directions.
• Hands-on experience or academic exposure to Prototyping, including mock-ups, models, and iterative testing.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic skills in sketching, CAD/3D modeling, and visualization tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, KeyShot or similar).
• Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad and manage time effectively in a fast-paced project setting.
