Job Description: Industrial Design Intern

We are looking for a passionate and creative Industrial Design Intern to join our team at BrahmWorks. This internship provides a unique opportunity to be involved in the entire design processfrom concept to prototyping and production. You will work closely with our experienced designers and engineers to develop and refine product designs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in sketching new product concepts and refining design ideas.
• Develop 3D CAD models using design software.
• Create high-quality renders to visualize product aesthetics and functionality.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure designs are manufacturable.
• Assist in prototyping and testing to validate design concepts.
• Conduct research on materials, ergonomics, and design trends to enhance product innovation.

Requirements:

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's in Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Autodesk Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar).
• Strong sketching and visualization skills.
• Basic knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and prototyping techniques.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with design tools like Fusion or Keyshot.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping tools (3D printing, metal prototyping, etc.).
• Passion for problem-solving and customer-centric design.

Commute/ relocate:

Must be able to reliably commute to our office in Yeshwanthpur, Bangalore or planning to relocate before starting work

Monday to Friday, 8 working hours per day
