Role Description The Domestic Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. The counselor will support students in exploring and selecting suitable higher education options within India, advising on courses, colleges, entrance exams, and application timelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assessing student profiles, suggesting appropriate academic and career paths, and guiding students through application forms, documentation, and interview preparation. The role also involves coordinating with parents or guardians, maintaining accurate records of student progress, and collaborating with other mentors to ensure a consistent and high-quality counseling experience. The counselor is expected to stay current on domestic education trends, admission criteria, and policy changes to provide timely and reliable guidance.

Qualifications

• Strong counseling and advising skills, including one-on-one guidance, student needs assessment, and academic/career pathway planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with clear spoken and written English and comfort interacting with students and families.
• Knowledge of Indian higher education systems, entrance examinations, and admission processes across universities and colleges.
• Minimun 5 years of experience in the same industry.
