Role Description

The Indian Cook will be responsible for preparing authentic Indian cuisines, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Haridwar. The cook will oversee meal planning, ingredient sourcing, food preparation, and presentation with attention to detail and consistency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in cooking traditional and contemporary Indian dishes, with strong knowledge of regional cuisines and preparation techniques
• Expertise in food preparation, ingredient selection, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
• Ability to manage time effectively, organize kitchen tasks, and ensure timely meal preparation
• Experience in menu planning, food costing, and inventory management
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with kitchen and service staff
• Formal culinary training or prior experience as an Indian cook in a professional kitchen is a plus
• Familiarity with dietary restrictions and the ability to accommodate diverse culinary needs
