Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and present a variety of Indian dishes (North Indian, South Indian, or Regional as per restaurant menu).

Ensure that all food is prepared in compliance with recipes, portion control, and quality standards.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area as per FSSAI and company hygiene standards.

Assist in menu planning and recipe development under the supervision of the Head Chef.

Monitor food inventory, report shortages, and assist in minimizing food wastage.

Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.

Follow proper food storage, labeling, and rotation procedures (FIFO system).

Work collaboratively with other kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.

Maintain personal hygiene, grooming, and discipline as per company policies.

Requirements:

Minimum 02 years of experience as an Indian Cook or Commis in a restaurant or hotel.

Knowledge of Indian spices, gravies, breads, and traditional cooking methods

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.

Good understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.

Team player with strong communication and time-management skills.

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

  • Candidates with experience in multi-cuisine restaurant is preferred.
