Job Description
The software engineer supports the development of new features and ongoing system enhancements with guidance from senior engineers. You'll work as part of an agile team, contributing to backlog grooming, estimation, and delivery.
You'll focus on building reliable, user-friendly solutions that meet quality standards, while developing your technical skills and learning best practices from experienced team members.
Core Job Duties
- Develop and maintain user interface controls, business logic, and SQL Server stored procedures.
- Participate on the agile team to estimate and groom backlog items, plan development activities, and improve the development process.
- Develop functionality using the isolved coding standards.
- Work with business analysts to clarify requirements and debug problems.
- Investigate third-level support requests.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-3+ years of large enterprise or e-business systems experience
- Ability to follow prescribed steps to research and solve complex problems.
- Strong skills with C#, LINQ, SQL, Unit Testing, .NET, JavaScript, HTML
- Knockout, Angular, Azure CosmosDB, or another NoSQL database
- Experience with extensive (500+ database table) system development a plus
- Eager to learn and grow.
