India Payroll Analyst

Insight Direct India is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Analyst to join our team. In this crucial role, you'll be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing for over 1000 employees across India. You'll report directly to our India Finance Head, ensuring full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

As a Payroll Analyst, you will:

• Partner with the HR Department to gather all necessary information for the smooth running of monthly payroll.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage high-volume payroll data efficiently.
• Review timesheets, attendance records, and correct any inaccuracies to ensure precise calculations.
• Ensure all payroll functions are accurate, complete, audited, reconciled, and submitted on time.
• Confirm payroll delivery is consistently on time to all employees.
• Resolve payroll issues and mismatches timely, minimizing disruptions.
• Handle voluntary deductions and special pay cycles like bonuses, commissions, special payments, merits, and adjustments.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll audits and create comprehensive reports for all stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 6-13 years of experience with full-cycle payroll processing.
• Education: B. Com or equivalent bachelor's or master's degree in a related field is required. An MBA in Finance will be an added advantage.
• Credentials: Finance-related academic credentials are preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is required.
