Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Portfolio Managers to conduct fundamental research, starting with a primary focus on India equity, while gradually expanding to other regional markets (especially South East Asia and Australia).
  • Monitor macroeconomic trends, industry dynamics, and regulatory changes for investment opportunities and risks.
  • Build and maintain company financial models and perform valuation analysis.
  • Attend corporate meetings, conduct channel checks and participate in industry / investors events.
  • Contribute to research and idea generation process through written / verbal reports.
  • Collaborate with other team members and work on regular/ad-hoc research projects.

Requirements:

  • Top academic performance and ideally a CFA charterholder.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sellside or buyside equity research, investment banking, or other relevant roles in finance.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Sense of responsibility and integrity. Self-driven with intellectual curiosity while able to collaborate effectively with the team.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and manage multiple priorities.
