Position: - India - Foreign remittance (Operations)- GRO- Maker

Job Location: - Chennai 5 Days Work from office

Shift :- General Shift

Key responsibilities

  1. Checking of remittance documents, direct import, Advance payments, Misc (A2) payments (Service, royalty, dividend)
  2. Processing and making of foreign outward/inward remittance transactions.
  3. Checking of transaction details and documentation required for remittances.
  4. Handling of Vostro account entries.
  5. Handling of Foreign bank charges
  6. Ensuring compliance with RBI and FEMA regulations.
  7. Coordinating with other team members (checker, approver) for smooth operations.
  8. FX market , forward contract knowledge

Required skills

  • Should be well aware of document checking for direct, advance and Misc (A2) payments.
  • Proficiency in financial and remittance system like swift.
  • Knowledge of FX markets/rates, Swift messages ISO20022 payment pacs.008, pacs.009.
  • Basic knowledge of foreign exchange regulations and compliance.
  • Well versed with Word and Excel (Vlookup/xlookup)
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Good command over both spoken and written English.
  • Candidate should be adaptable to working regional shifts to support remittance operations.

Qualification:- Bachelor's degree in commerce, Bachelors/Masters of Accounting and Finance.

Experience:- 58 years of experience in banking operations, preferably in foreign exchange or cross border outward remittance.

Preferred candidates from Chennai under 20 kilometers .
