Job Description
- Own the company-wide monthly reporting cycles and annual forecasting. Ensure accurate, timely statutory accounting, compliance with Indian Accounting Standards, and adherence to all tax, audit, and regulatory obligations (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
- Provide leadership in monthly closings, financial statements, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial policies, accounting procedures, and governance mechanisms.
- Translate business strategy into robust finance programs, operational processes, and performance tracking tools.
- Challenge and optimize SOP's within finance Department in order to achieve an efficient working Finance team, using most suitable technologies
- Act as a finance business partner to the leadership team-providing insights, scenario analyses, and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Ensure local treasury management, monthly cash flow planning, credit management, and relationships with financial institutions.
- Oversee Capex budgeting, tracking, and financial controls - including rigorous project estimation, milestone-based fund releases, and post-completion reviews for all plant-level and major operational projects.
The Successful Applicant
- Professional qualification: CA (Chartered Accountant) / MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Finance with mandatory exposure to manufacturing / FMCG / agro-food sectors, Capex-heavy project environments, and MNC or JV coordination
- Strong understanding of local Indian accounting rules, international standards, tax legislation, and internal control frameworks.
- Proven experience managing teams and influencing stakeholders at senior levels.
