Position SummaryJoin Walmart's Finance AI Excellence Lab as a Finance AI Agent Builder, where you will design, build, and deploy AI-powered agents that simplify and automate Finance processes. This role is execution-focused and hands-on, centered on building working agentic solutions using tools such as Copilot, Code Puppy, and other agentic AI frameworks.
You will not be responsible for discovery, prioritization, or ideation. Your impact comes from understanding defined Finance processes and executing high-quality AI agent builds that operate reliably in production environments.

What You'll DoAI Agent Build & ExecutionBuild Finance-focused AI agents using Copilot, Code Puppy, and agentic AI platforms
Translate documented Finance processes into executable agent workflows
Implement agent logic to interpret inputs, apply Finance rules, and execute tasks
Configure agent orchestration, tool usage, and decision logic
Process-to-Agent TranslationUnderstand assigned Finance processes and execution steps in depth
Convert Finance rules, calculations, and controls into agent logic
Ensure agents align with Finance policies, approvals, and audit expectations
Hands-On Build, Test, and IterateActively build, test, and refine agents during execution cycles
Debug agent behavior and output accuracy
Optimize prompts, workflows, and execution reliability
Support UAT and production readiness
Agentic AI & Modern Build PatternsApply agentic AI concepts such as task decomposition and orchestration
Combine LLM reasoning with deterministic Finance logic
Implement grounding, guardrails, and structured prompting
Collaboration & DeliveryPartner with Finance stakeholders to validate execution accuracy
Collaborate with engineering teams for deployment and integration
Support rollout, adoption, and scaling of deployed agents
What You'll Bring1315 years of experience in Finance operations, transformation, or systems execution roles
Strong hands-on knowledge of core Finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, Controls)
Demonstrated ability to build and execute solutions, not just design them
Comfort working with AI tools, low-code/pro-code platforms, and automation frameworks
Strong logical thinking and attention to detail
Clear communication skills with Finance and technical teams
Preferred QualificationsHands-on experience building AI agents using Copilot, Code Puppy, or similar tools
Exposure to agentic AI workflows, prompt engineering, and orchestration
Experience deploying AI or automation in large enterprise Finance environments
Understanding of Finance controls, audit, and compliance requirements
