Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable and robust cloud-based applications
Build next-generation enterprise platforms supporting internal Walmart business functions
Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and technical design discussions across teams
Develop and maintain high-quality, production-grade code following engineering best practices
Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to define requirements and priorities
Translate business needs into technical solutions and deliver end-to-end software systems
Perform software testing, debugging, and performance optimization before production release
Ensure system reliability, scalability, performance, and security across applications
Build software components for monitoring data sharing, access control, and security compliance
Troubleshoot production issues and resolve system defects in high-pressure environments
Improve system efficiency, automation, and observability continuously
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability building and hiring processes
Promote engineering best practices including CI/CD, coding standards, and agile development
