GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

This role is responsible for supporting the Business as an HR Business Partner - by identifying and implementing solutions required to support the business goals and objectives. The role will be based inBangalore and the person will be responsible for ensuring high level of colleague engagement and strong business partnership. In addition, the role will also work with the stakeholders and HR leader/s for the different businesses to implement India wide projects and initiatives. This role will need to provide proactive support to the business in managing the lifecycle of an employee i.e. from onboarding to separation. The role will have significant operating responsibilities in implementing HR policies, processes and initiatives for the aligned business.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The incumbent would be -

  • Deliver HR processes for the aligned Business, includingbut not limited to policy compliance, staffing/ recruiting, colleague relations, training &development, performance and pay cycle management.This will require strong partnering with HR functions.
  • Advocate, champion, and communicate HR policies and practices within the framework of theoverall Aon HR philosophy while keeping the India market practices in mind.Responsible for employee communication and change management.
  • Closely work with HR Leader for location on engagement, performance, and development needs to deliver HR goals for the business. Partner withother HR colleagues to leverage resources and programs.
  • Act asthe point of contact for other HR functions (Talent Acquisition, HR Connect, HR SharedServices, Total Rewards, and Talent Development) to ensure timely and quality closure of colleague matters andescalations pertaining to Business.
  • Act as a link between business and colleagues by handling questions, interpreting and administering solutions and helping resolve work-related issues
  • Drive assigned HR projects and initiatives for the aligned business group such as for enhancingassociate retention & engagement, as well as support the deployment of organization wideprograms and policies.
  • Collate and analyze data to influence business decisions and direction. Publish HR scorecards and dashboards for the business.Support compensation cycles, performance cycles by preparing strong analytics. Provide MIS support for Attrition analysis, includes- analyzing Exit interviews, observe trends and highlight important aspects, prepare and publish dashboards
  • Ensure strict adherence to process and timelines for global processes and projects Build strong relationships in a large organization: Should be able to build personal credibility and manage the organizational complexity/matrix structures )
  • Optimize systems and processes: The role requires acumen to drive the predictive maintenance of people issues in conjunction with proactive people engagement. This refers to sensing issues before they happen and making processes even better.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • 9+ years of professional HR experience in organizations with sound HR processes.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven interpersonal skills and ability to influence and inspire at all levels in the organization
  • Experience working in a matrix organization structure.
  • Demonstrated ability in partnering with business or HR
